Cathedral Religious Education

The Goals of Religious Education are to: provide catechesis to children, students, adults, and families wishing to learn more about our faith as a life long process through the programs of CFM, Youth Ministry, RCIA for Children, RCIA, and Adult Formation, promote enrichment programs and services for our Parish Community, and promote Catholic School instruction.

The Christian Formation Ministry (CFM--formerly CCD) program provides the catechetical instruction for children ages 3 through middle school.  Children will receive the sacrament of HOLY COMMUNION after a two-year preparation, which will be in either grade 2 or 3.  Children who are 3,4, or 5 and are not baptized, parents will need to attend classes and given instruction for catechesis as well as prepare their children for BAPTISM.

The Adult Formation program is available to evangelize and learn more about the faith either as an individual or as a family. These programs include: WHY CATHOLIC, THAT MAN IS YOU, GENERATIONS OF FAITH, THE GOSPEL OF JOHN weekly study, and CATECHESIS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH weekly study.
