TRAVELLING CHALICE

The Travelling Chalice is meant to promote all vocations, but especially the vocation to the priesthood. It goes to the source of all vocations, the family, by bringing them together to pray and reflect upon God's call to each one. The presence of the Chalice in the home serves to remind the family of several things: of their commitment to pray for vocations during the week; of the fact that without priests there is no Eucharist; and also that Mass does not end with the closing prayer.

Chalice The Travelling Chalice is transported in wooden case that was specially made by Ruben Gonzalez, one of our own parishioners.
