The Religious Education Ministry is responsible for providing direction, consultation and support to the parishioners of the Cathedral in faith formation for people of all ages, and ministry formation for people in related pastoral and catechetical positions.

THE GOALS OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION ARE TO:
- Provide catechesis to children, students, adults and families wishing to learn more about our faith as a life long process through the programs of Religious Education, Youth Ministry, RCIA for Children, RCIA and Adult Formation.
- Provide enrichment services and programs for our parish community.
- Promote catholic school instruction.
Our Religious Education Program provides the catechetical instruction for children ages 3 through middle school. Children will receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion after a two-year preparation, which will be in either grade 2 or 3. For children who are 3, 4 or 5 and are not baptized, parents will need to attend classes and given instruction for catechesis as well as preprare the children for baptism.
